Inflexible Determination

My Running Experience

About

Eric from QC ,  currently working for an IT company in Makati  and Im a running addict.  I train whenever I can as long as my legs, muscle and bones arent in pain. I also rest as much as I can to prevent any “too much, too soon” injury.

The first main reason I got hooked up in running is to improve my health.  After experiencing my first race, old and very young people passing by me as I barely walk  the pavement catching my breath.  I then told myself that  I  shouldnt  have a very weak body for my current age.  So with this in mind, I came to a realization that I really have to start working hard and improve my endurance, yes this means a total change in lifestyle!

Second of all, I can honestly say that I havent experienced a lot of succesful accomplishments and fulflling feelings in my life but after doing a long tiring run I somehow get high with this strange fulfilling feeling, I feel like my mind is so clear , everything that I am seeing seems brighter(hilo na din hehe), im in a state of mind where I temporarily forget my past and future. Perhaps this is one of the reason why I got hooked up in running its because I always get to experience this great and fulfilling sensation after a great run.

In order to somehow keep track of my running activities I’ve decided to make this blog as a  virtual vault where I can store my logs and share my experience about running.    I only started running regularly  at around May 2009,  my short term objective is to finish my first ever 21k race in a respectable time while my long term objective is to experience a full marathon and finish it with a decent time also. Time frame to meet objectives? still indefinite at this point.  Right now I’m striving very hard and knows that I still have a long way to go and still have a lot to experience and learn before I can reach my short and long term goal.   I’m also looking forward in knowing more people w/c has the same passion as me in running  so I can learn more from them by asking for tips and advices. My other interest in learning more from running is by reading other runners blog w/c really gets me more motivated after seeing their achievements and running experience.

Join me as I make my own personal running history, please feel free to leave any comment in my site.
